ANNOUNCING: OCTOPUS PUBLISHING GROUP X MALVERN AUTUMN SHOW PARTNERSHIP

Octopus Publishing Group has announced their partnership with Malvern Autumn Show for a series of events with a selection of high-profile Octopus food, drink and lifestyle authors on Saturday 23 September at the Malvern Autumn Show Kitchen and Garden theatres. The events will be open to all attending the show, which runs across three days from 22-24 September, and are bookable via the festival website.

The event series will cover a range of topics and themes including vegetarian cooking, vegetable and flower gardening, seasonal cookery inspiration and cocktail-making.

Beginning in the Kitchen Theatre, Sunday Times bestselling author of The Flower Yard and The Flower Yard: Planting a Paradise, Arthur Parkinson will be in conversation with Blanche Vaughan, author of House & Garden A Year in the Kitchen about the differences and similarities between flower and kitchen gardening.

Author of Your Daily Veg and More Daily Veg, Joe Woodhouse and Great British Bake-off star and author of Flavour Kitchen, Crystelle Pereira will team up to discuss how you can use seasonal vegetables in a fresh, modern way with dishes that always deliver on flavour and satisfaction.

BBC Strictly Come Dancing Star, Great British Bake-off winner and author of five cookery books and the new memoir, Dancing on Eggshells John Whaite, will be in-conversation to discuss stories and memories through food.

In preparation for the festive season, food writer Rebecca Seal (author of the bestselling LEON series co-author of Ginger Pig Christmas Cookbook alongside Tim Wilson) and Great British Bake-off star Jürgen Krauss, author of German Baking will team up to reminisce on Christmas traditions and how to prepare for your best festive season yet.

Authors of 60-Second Cocktails, Joel Ridley and Neil Harrison will be joined by Rebecca Seal to demo some delicious cocktails and discuss perfect canape and cocktail pairings.

To close the day over in the Garden Theatre, author of I Can Hear the Cuckoo, Kiran Sidhu will discuss urban vs rural living with Ben Dark, author of The Grove

All events will be chaired by expert food writer, grower, photographer and cook; Mark Diacono. Rossiter Books will be the official bookseller for the Octopus event series, as with for the whole festival.
